our approach

How Rubric training is designed.

Five principles that shape every cohort, every delivery, every workbook.

Practical and applied

Focused on real-world implementation, not theory.

Capability-driven

Building confidence and competence across the workforce.

Contextualised

Tailored to the specific environment and risks of each organisation.

Trauma-informed

And culturally responsive across every cohort.

Aligned to regulation, not driven by it

Meets regulatory expectations without being compliance-heavy.

Pricing and delivery, transparent.

$250 per participant. Groups of up to 30. No per-cohort fixed fee. Most providers gate pricing entirely; Rubric publishes it as a signal of confidence and respect for your budget process.

Every engagement includes:

  • Live delivery (online or onsite) — never pre-recorded
  • Participant workbook + key-takeaway summary
  • Access to the Rubric resource library
  • Pre-training capability baseline
  • 6-week post-training assessment

Multi-site and phased rollouts are scoped in a free 30-minute Capability Conversation. We'll look at your sector, your workforce, and which tier (or combination) fits the outcome you need.

Common questions before scoping.

Most clients start with Leadership (highest leverage), then roll down to Frontline and up to Executive. Phased rollout is usually stronger than everyone-at-once because Leadership sets the tone for what frontline staff are then asked to apply.

Yes. Online delivery is the default. Onsite is available for organisations with 2+ cohorts or where the operational context makes face-to-face the right call.

Kelly adapts examples, case studies, and scenario work to the specific psychosocial hazard profile of your sector. Aged care, community services, disability, mental health, and general workplaces are all supported.

Psychological safety (Amy Edmondson's frame) is about team dynamics — can people speak up without fear. Psychosocial hazards (the WorkSafe frame) are about workplace risks to mental health — workload, role clarity, exposure to distressing work, leadership style. Rubric's training covers both because operationally they're intertwined.

Yes. Post-training support is available: 6-week check-ins, leader coaching, annual re-measurement, and incident-response consultation. Scope is agreed at the end of each engagement.

Booking lead time is typically 4–6 weeks. Tight timelines can sometimes be accommodated for short-form Executive sessions.
